What the charity exists to do
We were established to preserve and restore local heritage buildings and enable them to be open to the public. To this end we own and lease 2 important historical buildings these we maintain and preserve for the benefit of all. We hold educational and social events within the buildings. We maintain an archive of documents associated with the history of this important heritage site. We encourage local people to volunteer at the site to increase their knowledge of the local heritage. We work in partnership with other organisations in the area to encourage a greater understanding of our heritage.
