What the charity exists to do
Take One Action brings communities together to harness the transformative potential of film and storytelling for collective change. We run year-round events and festivals every two years that bridge the gap between film and social action and inspire positive social change from the ground up.

The charitable purposes of the Company are: The advancement of citizenship or community development and education through the organisation of empowering and participatory cinematic media events on diverse themes of global citizenship. The promotion of equality using those cinematic media events as stimulus. The prevention or relief of poverty by facilitating awareness and understanding of the issues concerning world poverty and action that can be takento combat it.The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science through the presentation of world-class cinematic media on diverse themes of global citizenship.
