The purpose of the band shall be to advance the education of the public. Particularly young people living and working in the glenrothes and surrounding districts. In the art of bagpipe playing and drumming

Constitutional objectives

The objectives of the Band shall be to advance the education of the public, particularly young people living and/or working in Glenrothes and surrounding districts, in the art of bagpipe playing and drumming by the presentation of public performances and other related activities and in furtherance thereof, to promote, advance and encourage bagpipe playing and drumming and to promote the traditions of pipe band music (hereinafter called 'the Objects').
