What the charity exists to do
The mission of the Sir Thomas Lipton Foundation is to raise the aspirations, confidence and skills of pre-teen children growing up in areas of multiple deprivation through fun, educational and practical experiences of sailing, the marine industry, maritime heritage, and enterprise.

Constitutional objectives
2.1 The objects of the Company are to:- (a) make life better for deprived, disadvantaged or disabled children and young people under the age of 24 years through sailing and sailing-related activities. and (b) to promote such similar purposes, objects or Charitable institutions as the Committee shall think fit
