02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Port Seton Centre Management Committee is set up to support the provision of educational and recreational facilities, educational and recreation programmes to help improve the conditions of life for the people of Cockenzie & Port Seton and the local area to reduce inequalities and promote active citizenship. This is done in various ways including providing a community gym, soft play room, supporting community groups and facilitating health and well being activities to meet the needs of the community and offering affordable and accessible room hire within Port Seton Centre.
