02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We take in dogs from across the UK and place them into individual foster homes. This lets us understand each dog’s true nature, needs, and personality so we can match them with the best adoptive home. Before rehoming, every dog receives appropriate veterinary care, including neutering, vaccination, microchipping, and flea and worm treatment where needed. All potential adopters receive a homecheck before we place a dog with them. We also offer follow-up support to help ensure a smooth transition and long-term success. Alongside rescue work, we run fundraising, education, and awareness activities year-round. Through our Education and Welfare programme, we also provide reliable advice on the health, behaviour, and welfare of Poodle crossbreeds. Our charity is run entirely by volunteers who give their time around work and family commitments. We only rehome dogs within the UK.

Constitutional objectives
1. The objects for which the Company is established are: 1.1 To assume the responsibility for any Doodles (Labradoodles, Goldendoodles, Cockapoos, other Poodle crosses) and Poodles needing to be rehomed for whatever reason and, in particular, to identify appropriate foster home and other resources for the reception, care, neutering and treatment of such dogs, before rehoming to carefully selected homes. 1.2 To promote humane behaviour towards Doodles (Labradoodles, Goldendoodles,Cockapoos, other Poodle crosses) and Poodles by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for dogs which are in need of care and attention by reason of changed or poor circumstances, sickness, maltreatment or ill usage. 1.3 To educate the public in matters pertaining to canine welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among dogs.
