02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

At conFAB we provide opportunities for humans to have positive experiences of themselves. We do this by igniting, supporting and developing the innate creativity that is in all of us. We support and develop accessible, high quality arts practices, which promote the well-being and development of all people. We have extensive experience of delivering high ­quality programmes of creative writing, visual art, drama, music and dance workshops and performances, providing free arts activities for people facing barriers to participation.

Constitutional objectives

The advancement of the arts by the development of high quality arts projects, productions, events, performances and workshops involving the full spectrum of arts practises inclusive of but not exhaustive of drama, music, visual art, design, written and spoken word across Scotland. The advancement of education in formal and informal settings using art as an educational tool through arts projects, productions, events, performances and workshops across Scotland.
