02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Provide village hall facilities for the use of groups and organisations in the Humbie and surrounding area communities by hiring out our village hall to such groups and organisations and on occasion for private hire (e.g. birthday party celebrations) by members of the aforementioned communities.

Constitutional objectives
( ONE) the feu is hereby disponed for t h e purpose of erecting thereon a new public hall which the feuars shall be bound to erect and the said new public hall shall in all time coming be held by the feuars for behalf of the inhabitants of the Parish of Humbie and be used as a public hall for meetings, social entertainments, physical recreation, leisures and other educational uses and such like purposes and (except with prior written consent of the Superior) for no other purpose whatever
