What the charity exists to do

The objectives of the charity are the advancement of literary arts and education through the promotion of the works of James Boswell and the advancement of heritage through the restoration and preservation of the James Boswell family aisle and mausoleum in Auchinleck churchyard. This is achieved through the provision of writing workshops, book festivals and tours which benefit the local community
