Constitutional objectives

The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund and the income of it to pay and apply the same to or for the provision of recreational facilities in the community of Holywood, Dumfries, and in particular through the provision and maintenance of a village hall, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the people of Holywood and surrounding towns and villages and, without prejudice to the foregoing specification, in furtherance of such other similar charitable purposes or charitable institutions and in such proportions and manner as the Trustees shall think fit. In exercising their discretion in terms of this Clause the Trustees shall give primary consideration to the wishes of those persons who gift or lend funds to the Trust but this proviso shall impose no binding obligation on the Trustees.
