Constitutional objectives
The Association exists to articulate, promote and celebrate the past and ongoing history of the Irish and Irish culture in Scotland. I. To promote and advance active citizenship and human rights education for the Irish community in Scotland. II. To advance and promote Irish cultural, heritage and Irish identity and contributions in civic society in Scotland through promoting community cohesion, social inclusion and harmony among the diverse communities and faith groups. III. To advance equality and diversity promoting community cohesion and active participation of the Irish Community in civic society through progressing human rights education and democratic active citizenship. IV. To promote education and sport activities among the Irish community through active participation and active citizenship through educational initiatives. V. To promote, establish and operate other schemes of full charitable nature for the benefit of the Irish and wider communities.
