02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We are set up to help poorest, most underprivileged people in the La Gonave district of Haiti. We help relieve those in need by reason of ill health, disability or any other disadvantages, by providing funds for any legitimate project agreed by the trustees. We coordinate donations and allocate them to projects commensurate with any preference indicated by the donor. Monies can be directed to various categories including but not exclusively education, healthcare, care of the elderly, care of the handicapped, and community benefit projects. We raise money to do this by giving talks, hosting quizzes, fairs, bookstalls, and other fundraising activities. The trustees use every opportunity to promote the charity and its work. The trustees also encourage monthly donors to join and support our Work
