02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
RCCG Edinburgh Tabernacle is a local Christian church serving people in Edinburgh and the surrounding communities. Our purpose is to advance the Christian faith and support the spiritual, social and practical wellbeing of individuals and families. We do this through regular Christian worship services, prayer meetings, Bible teaching, discipleship and pastoral support. We provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to develop their faith, build positive relationships and participate in the life of the local community. We also support individuals and families through pastoral care, practical assistance, community engagement and activities that promote wellbeing, inclusion and positive relationships. Our church provides a welcoming environment where people can receive spiritual guidance, encouragement and support, and where volunteers can contribute their time and skills in serving others.
