02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We aim to co-produce with the Arran community on the management and use of the waters around Arran and the Clyde.. to raise awareness about the marine environment and increase activism for its recovery and protection. to continue to research the health, economic value and social benefits of these seas and to support fishers, local businesses and organisations to benefit from the recovering marine environment acting in a sustainable manner. To use research and learnings to better inform decision makers and to influence government policy.

Constitutional objectives
3. Objects (a) To improve the overall health and biodiversity of our seas and Scotland's marine environment, with particular focus on the Firth of Clyde. (b) To continue to work with the local community on the island of Arran and people of all ages and backgrounds to increase awareness of marine environmental issues, and press for effective management and recovery of Arran's coastal waters. (c) To build relationships with other communities and organisations at regional, national and international levels, to create a unified and stronger voice in support of promoting healthier and more productive oceans.
