Constitutional objectives

For the benefit of the public in Scotland and elsewhere, for payment or application of the whole free income (or even the capital) of the Trust Fund from time to time in the Trustees' charge for the aftermentioned objects and all related activities which the Trustees consider appropriately directed to these object, namely:- 1.1.1 The objects for which the Trust is established shall be to make grants or provide financial assistance to projects and initiatives targeted for the public benefit to promote the participation in healthy recreation and sports, education (including social and physical training) and the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science. 1.1.2 By assisting and promoting participation in such projects or activities of an educational, social, cultural or recreational nature which in the opinion of the Trustees will contribute to the education and/or advancement in life of the public in Scotland and elsewhere. 1.1.3 By assisting, supporting and co-operating with any established charitable organisations, ad hoc groups or other bodies or persons which, in the opinion of the Trustees will contribute to the participation in healthy recreation and sports, education, culture and the advancement in life of the public in Scotland and elsewhere and generally promoting and facilitating the provision and delivery of improved services and facilities for such people in Scotland and elsewhere in such manner as the Trustees may, from time to time, consider appropriate.
