02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The association's objects are: a) To promote cricket as a mass participation sport and make it fun, safe and accessible for all those who wish to play regardless of age, sex, creed, colour or physical ability. b) To provide cricket coaching, training and playing facilities to all sections of the community for all those who wish to play regardless of age, sex, creed, colour, physical ability or financial status. c) To play a leading part towards the long term development and longevity of the game of cricket in the Dumfries and Galloway area of Scotland particularly through coaching in local primary and secondary schools (where association funds allow).
