Constitutional objectives
The purpose of the Association is to advance the education of the public in the science of crystallography particularly within the British Isles. In furtherance of the above object, but not further or otherwise the Association shall have the following powers: a. to promote and carry out research and to publish the useful results thereof. b. to organise conferences and meetings and to issue publications. c. to promote and organise co-operation in the achievement of the same, nationally, internationally, and locally. d. to make By-Laws which shall not be inconsistent with these Statutes. e. to do all such other lawful things as are necessary for the attainment of the said purpose.
