What the charity exists to do
This is an anticipatory charity, and is the beneficiary of the late Donald Macpherson's Will therefore funds will be made over to the charitable trust in due course.

Constitutional objectives
Subject to Clause (THIRD), the Trustees shall payor apply the income of the Trust Fund and shall have power in their discretion at any time or times to pay or apply the whole or any part or parts of the capital thereof for the following charitable purposes: (a) The prevention or relief of poverty, (b) The advancement of education, (c) The advancement of religion, (d) The advancement of health, (e) The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science, (f) The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill -health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, (g) any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes declaring that the expression 'charitable purpose' shall mean a charitable purpose under section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 which is also regarded as a charitable purpose in relation to the application of the Taxes Acts.
