02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Gna established 2009 to promote our cultural event and involve in different activies. We carry out our work through fundraising, donations, volunteer involvement, and partnerships with local organisations in Nepal. Funds raised through charitable and cultural events are reinvested into our charitable projects. By combining community knowledge with transparent and responsible use of resources, GNA Nepalese Charity Organization seeks to create lasting positive change while promoting and protecting Nepalese culture for future generations.

a) To promote religious and racial harmony by building a cohesive, active and supportive Nepali Society for its participants and members of the public. b) To advance the education and social wellbeing of its members c) To advance community development and encourage citizenship. d) To encourage equality and diversity amongst its members and local people. e) To support development activities in Nepal and the UK that will help people facing financial hardship or other disadvantage.
