Constitutional objectives
3.3. 1 To help journalists and their dependants who meet the eligibility criteria who, because of sickness, accident or other unforeseen circumstance, need help. 3.3.2 To give help to those who meet the criteria but have left journalism as well as the dependants of journalists. 3.3.3 To meet a need rather than preserve a particular lifestyle and we cannot subsidise those who, in the long-term, find it difficult to make a living from journalism unless through illness or other misfortune. 3.3.4 Help may be in the form or cash grants or accommodation.
