What the charity exists to do
Working, primarily within Galashiels and also the Scottish Borders, to advance the Christian faith, promoting and undertaking new expressions of church. Working alongside other churches in developing and undertaking outreach activities.

Constitutional objectives
3.1 To advance the Christian faith [in accordance with the Charity's Statement of Beliefs] primarily within Galashiels and the Borders but not excluding Scotland and worldwide. 3.2 To develop, promote and actively undertake in new expressions of church primarily within Galashiels and the Borders but not excluding Scotland and worldwide. 3.3 To work with local relief providers, help groups and care providers to identify and assist in the provision of relief to those in need primarily within Galashiels and the Borders but not excluding Scotland and worldwide. 3.4 To develop, promote and apply Christian youth programmes to increase the knowledge of the Christian faith and how to apply the Christian faith to their lives. 3.5 To provide an opportunity for people to restart their lives, to re-introduce people into the community and back into work, to provide people with a new confidence in themselves by operating retail stalls/retail premises or through start up businesses. Learning the retail trade, obtaining business skills, learning how to build relationship with customers and suppliers and learning how to organise their working and private lives. 3.6 To provide a highly visible Christian witness and outreach centre, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, in the very heart of Galashiels, bringing the Love of Christ to the community and to use the centre to provide local community services as detailed below:
