Constitutional objectives
The company's objects are to promote the advancement of the Christian religion and to promote the advancement of heritage and culture as evidenced in church property in connection with the Church of Scotland primarily, but aiso other Christian churches, and the support of such institutions and their infrastructure, administration and activities in particular (but without prejudice to that generality) by taking over and assuming the whole assets and liabilities and generally the whole undertaking of the entity know as 'The Renfield Street Trust' (a charitable body, charity number SC018474) constituted under a trust deed dated 16 November 1964 and registered in the Books of Council and Session on 27 November 1964 and with a view to intromitting, managing, discharging and generally dealing with the same in furtherance of the company's objects thereafter by
