What the charity exists to do
Objectives and aims The primary purposes of the charity are the advancement of education, the provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. VISION: SPYF are: Passionately committed to supporting communities to flourish. MISSION: We aim to: Alleviate the worst effects of poverty through eating, education, exercise and empowerment by 2027.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation's objects are to promote the benefit of young persons and individuals within families resident or working in the City of Glasgow, focused on the parish of St. Paul's Church and its environs without distinction of political, religious, or other opinions by associating the local authority, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide, or assist in the provision of, facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving their conditions of life and alleviating the effects of poverty.
