02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Ruthven Parish Association began in 2011 as a wider community development from events first established in 1990. The charity is set up for local benefit by organising or providing the venue for activities in the only remaining community building in the area. The building has been converted from the former Ruthven Church, the heritage of which has been preserved. Now as Ruthven Community Hall it has a versatile interior and the picturesque country setting is appreciated for weddings and a wide range of occasions. Currently there is an emphasis on the arts and well-being. This benefits individuals and groups, and also helps to develop links within the surroundings.
