02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

To provide a point of contact for newly diagnosed patients and their families and to ensure up-to-date information on PNH is available for all patients. PNH information packs are provided to all haematology departments throughout Scotland as well as contact details for PNH Scotland. Meetings are held quarterly to provide an opportunity for patients to talk and ask questions in-person.

Constitutional objectives

The charity?s objectives (the objectives') are to raise awareness of PNH and advance the education of patients, families, interested health professionals and the general public into the condition. In particular, the charity will aim to provide useful information and a point of contact for newly diagnosed PNH patients.
