To create an Archive of the public life of former Prime Minister Gordon Brown. This is done by collecting items for the Archive, and storing and archiving them.

Constitutional objectives
3.1 The ownership and management for the public benefit of an archive (the 'Archive') of such papers, diaries, audio and visual media records and recordings held electronically, digitally or otherwise any physical object or artefact and any other item or items gifted or lent by me, or gifted lent or sold by any other person, persons or organisation to the Trustees. 3.2 The advancement of education in particular by acquiring, holding, restoring and maintaining the Archive and by making the Archive available for the pursuit of education and research. 3.3 The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture and/or science.
