What the charity exists to do
Provide financial support to young people under the age of 26 both individuals and groups to undertake projects that will enhance their personal development.

Constitutional objectives
7.1 The SCIO will provide direct funding and support for young people under the age of twenty six in undertaking activities anywhere in the world that will assist in their personal development. It will also provide funding to other charities which support the same or similar aims. In undertaking these activities and objectives the SCIO will promote, advance and further the following charitable purposes:- 7.1.1 the advancement of education. 7.1.2 the prevention or relief of poverty. 7.1.3 the advancement of citizenship or community development. and 7.1.4 the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
