02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our activities are all about stimulating, both, children and adults and encouraging their development in a safe and caring environment. Activities include, football and other sports coaching sessions undertaken by qualified coaches. We also arrange youth group sessions carried out by our experienced and appropriately qualified youth workers.

Constitutional objectives
To advance citizenship for the diverse Ethnic minorities youth through assisting in removing barriers and establishing structures such as sport and community initiatives, through which their active participation is progressed and achieved. To Promote and advance race equality through the contribution of Ethnic Minorities youth in multicultural Scotland. Locally, regionally and nationally, through promoting participation in all aspects of civic society paying attention to supporting disadvantaged EM youths through sport, volunteering and community initiatives regarding lifelong learning, training, informal learning etc. To prevent or relieve poverty amongst diverse Ethnic Minorities youth in Pollokshields and Greater Glasgow through the provision of MYF activities and membership. To advance education and training opportunities for diverse Ethnic Minorities youth in Pollokshields, and Greater Glasgow through the provision of MYF services and activities
