02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We are a social activity centre that encourages inclusion with all types of learning and physical disabilities. We promote independence, community involvement and a safe space with a stimulating environment in which adults from the age of 16 upwards with learning and physical disabilities can experience personal growth and fulfilment. We strive to create a atmosphere of mutual respect and acceptance and to ensure that our members receive the highest quality care and support. We also help our members with filling in applications and help with job centre appointments and encourage them to be part of the free bus pass scheme and help with making appointments and support to get to those appointments. We also help with grant applications for sports money for desired sports outings. We also help our members and attendees with grants for continued education. We join in with other organizations that are similar to our organization to socialize and continue our mission.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are: To advance Education through informal learning opportunities for people with disabilities. To organise recreational activities (including some sport (related to ability) and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle) with the object of improving conditions and choices for life for those who have need of them by reason of their disability. This will be done through a range of structured and unstructured directed and self-directed activities, both social and educational. To relieve those in need by means of disability by providing a drop in centre that is non prescribed, is fit for purpose and meets the needs of the disabled users.
