Constitutional objectives

The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund and the income of it to pay and apply the same in furtherance of FIRST (i) research into the causes of. (li) the assessment of the effectiveness of the existing treatments for. and (iii) potential cures for, all forms of cancer. SECOND The provision of support, care and ancillary services, including accommodation, for those suffering from any form of cancer. and THIRD such similar other purposes, objects or institutions, charitable in law, to those expressed at Sub-Clauses FIRST and SECOND above, and in such proportions and manner as the Trustees shall think fit. and without prejudice to the foregoing generality, the Trustees shall have power to authorise the purchase of equipment and/or the funding of suitably qualified personnel to assist in the achievement of the purposes as hereinbefore expressed ('the Purposes'). In exercising their discretion in terms of this Clause the Trustees shall give due consideration to the wishes of those persons who gift or lend funds to the Trust but this proviso shall impose no binding obligation on the Trustees.
