What the charity exists to do
The BEA SCIO Constitution states that the organisation’s purposes are: 1 To provide a local source of advice, information, education, training and support on all energy matters to all sectors in the Scottish Borders 2 To promote renewable energy, energy conservation, carbon reduction and sustainability to all sectors in the Scottish Borders 3 To act to prevent or relieve poverty, in particular fuel poverty 4 To support the advancement of education, health, community development, science and technology and environmental protection or improvement In recent years, our ability to deliver has been constrained by lack of funding.
