Constitutional objectives
2. The association's objects are: (a) To conserve and maintain, operate and manage Hallan Cemetery and its memorials, gravesites, tombs, cemetery wall, and other historic features for the benefit of the Community. (b) To advance the education of the public by making available the burial records of the lives of those buried in Hallan Cemetery by collecting and preserving the genealogy, heritage and culture of the lives of the inhabitants of South Uist and related areas through the ages by maintaining a Cemetery website.
