02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We teach traditional Chinese Practices based on Yi-Jing, like Qi-Gong, Meditation and 4 Times 4Health to participants coming to our retreats and conferences.

Constitutional objectives

a) The advancement of environmental protection or improvement and the advancement of the philosophical belief of the ancient Chinese Daoist tradition, by teaching, example and demonstration of the validity of essential truths of this tradition - which emphasises the deep ecological interdependence between all things - as a means of motivating, educating and enabling people to live in greater harmony both within human society and the natural world. In pursuance of this, the Foundation will act as a developmental bridge and facilitator between East and West in supporting, encouraging, coordinating and sustaining the efforts of all leaders, organisations and communities who seek to avert the global community from potential disaster and transition into a new era of sustainable environmental management. b) The advancement of health by promoting wellbeing in the community and through research into wellbeing by supporting any person(s) or group in the furtherance of their studies and helping publicise such studies or research. c) The advancement of community development by facilitating, networking and linking with local community initiatives that seek to foster sustainable economic and social development. d) The advancement of the arts, heritage and culture through holding occasional events and activities relating to ancient cultural and wisdom traditions.
