02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity’s objectives are achieved through providing outdoor adventure activities for youths and youth groups throughout the year. The charity also takes groups of youths to a number of racing events where each race is a working adventure for the member of the team. Being part of the team provides personal development and attainment of real life skills such as trust and self confidence. The charity helps youths develop a greater sense of right and wrong by showing them how to work for the benefit of the team within set boundaries. The charitable activities are funded by donations together with any surpluses generated from activity courses supplied to local schools/councils and youth entities.
