02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

To enrich the experiences of children and their families by engaging them in high quality, appropriate play and recreational activities which promote their right to freely participate in cultural life and the arts and support the strengthening of community and family connections. to empower parents by encouraging them to be positively involved in their child’s development while improving their own self esteem, to create a positive environment for children to become confident individuals and responsible citizens. to encourage children to have the confidence to make positive decisions regarding the issues and influences they face growing up in South Lanarkshire. to provide high quality arts and play opportunities for children and those who impact on their lives and to help break down the many barriers facing children and families in today’s society.
