The organisation's purposes are: To create integrated social and recreational opportunities in Banchory by planning, developing, building, managing and maintaining appropriate facilities and buildings To advance the participation in sport and the active arts through the whole community by planning, developing, building, managing and maintaining appropriate facilities and buildings To promote education in the community through the provision of educational activity for children, young people, people with physical and learning disabilities and other members of the community To encourage social inclusion, integration and equal opportunities across the community by working with other agencies to create facilities and opportunities to promote this aim To promote sustainable developments within the community by promoting the use of appropriate materials, renewable energy sources and minimising the environmental impact of any activities
