02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The purpose of the Charity is to support Camperdown Wildlife Centre in the advancement of animal welfare and to support conservation programs in the Centre. Promote interest of the Group to the public and to create additional revenue through various fund raising and membership activities. To allocate finances from fund raising to specific projects supported by Camperdown Wildlife Centre particularly those involving educational, conservation or zoological projects and to support the future development of Camperdown Wildlife Centre.

Constitutional objectives

The aims of the Group shall be to advance animal welfare, and in furtherance thereof to: ? Support Camperdown Wildlife Centre's conservation programmes ? Promote interest in CWC to the public. ? Increase awareness of CWC mission. ? Create additional revenue for CWC projects through fund raisingevents and grant identification. ? Allocate finances from FOCWC fund raising to specific projects supported by Camperdown Wildlife Centre, particularly educational, conservation or zoological projects. ? Give support to the education of the public on zoological issues. ? Provide assistance between CWC interests and visitors. ? Provide volunteer help for FOCWC within identified projects. ? Involve FOCWC members, CWC visitors and staff in social and zoological activities. ? Support the future development of CWC.
