02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

To raise awareness and promote advancement of education of the public in the understanding of all aspect of cervical cancer with a view to reducing the incidences of cervical cancer, to fund and supply essential equipment required to treat those suffering from cervical cancer and to fund the servicing of hospital facilities to support medical staff and patients. The Trust raises funds from a variety of sources and activities, with generous donations received throughout the year from various means of fundraising.

Constitutional objectives

The Trustees must apply the income of the Charity in furthering the following objects ('the objects'): 1. To raise awareness and promote the advancement of education of the public in the understanding of all aspects of cervical cancer, with a view to reducing the incidence of cervical cancer in women. 2. To fund and locally supply essential equipment required to treat those suffering from Cervical Cancer, and to fund the servicing of hospital facilities to support medical staff and patients. 3. Such other purposes for the benefit of the community as shall be exclusively charitable as the trustees from time to time shall decide (the Objects).
