Constitutional objectives

3.1 The Company shall operate for the public benefit in pursuance of the following charitable purposes or objects: 3.1.1 To increase the natural capital of the parks ecosystems and what they deliver for communities, the economy and the planet, improving their biodiversity, restoring ecological function and facilitating carbon storage 3.1.2 To increase the resilience of communities to the impacts of climate change by investigating and adopting nature-based solutions and also enabling and promoting the reduction in a reliance on carbon 3.1.3 To improve the health and wellbeing of both residents and visitors to The Park by increasing the opportunities for recreation and improved access to The Parks natural environment in a climate friendly manner. 3.1.4 To carry out any other business, particularly in facilitating collaboration between key stakeholders in The National Park which may be advantageous in achieving or pursuing the objects above.
