02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We are here to provide support and activities for families with additional needs. We do this by providing activities for both parents and children. We also provide training sessions for parents and we organise trips and weekend breaks for families. We also offer peer support to our parents giving advice and signposting where needed.. Most of our groups are specifically for our members.

Constitutional objectives
4.1 To relieve those in need, by providing ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) services of support and guidance both emotional and practical to individuals and their families, living with ASD throughout all stages from diagnosis onwards. 4.2 To promote the advancement of education by raising awareness of the condition to the families living with ASD and to the local and wider community. 4.3 To provide activities and therapeutic interventions which support the social and emotional development of children and young adults living with an ASD. 4.4 To provide education and self awareness to individuals with an ASD, their families and those who come into their contact with the purpose of empowering and including those individuals.
