What the charity exists to do
The objectives of the charity are widely drawn and allow payments of income or capital to, or for the benefit of, such charities, community organisations, individuals and others, as well as projects and programmes etc which promote the purposes of advancement of citizenship or community development, relief of poverty, relief of those in need, advancement of public participation in sport, the provision/organisation of recreational facilities, the advancement of arts, heritage, culture or science, the saving of lives, the advancement of education, animal welfare and environmental protection or improvement, as the Charity Trustees in their absolute discretion may select. The charity supports Edrington’s employee giving programme by collecting donations from the public through its web donation platform, and receiving matching donations from Edrington, and making onward donations to charities.
