The Network will work together To promote the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. To achieve its object the Network will work together to promote better outcomes for people in receipt of Self-Directed Support or who are interested in pursuing this means to enable independent living, improve conditions of life and facilitate active participation in and full integration into society and promote ? Equality and diversity ? The advancement of education ? The advancement of citizenship or community development ? The research of best practice and report on these to members and others with an interest in Self-Directed Support ? The provision of a Network for members to work together and share ideas, experiences and information ? The provision of training for members, staff and others
