02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Charitable Purposes: ? To encourage the promotion and practice of the sport in general and Boxing at grass roots level. ? To contribute to the improvement of physical health, fitness and social and mental wellbeing. The individuals participating in boxing skills and development will be trained and developed in line with Scottish Boxing, the furtherance of which will be achieved through affiliation to Boxing Scotland. ? To provide recreational activities aimed at building and improving social skills.

Constitutional objectives

The organisation's purposes are: (1) to encourage the promotion and practice of the sport in general and Amateur Boxing at grass-roots level. (2) to contribute to the improvement of physical health, fitness and social and mental wellbeing. The individuals participating in boxing skills and development will be trained and developed in line with Scottish Boxing, the furtherance of which will be achieved through affiliation to Amateur Boxing Scotland. (3) to provide recreational activities aimed at building and improving social skills which will contribute to improving the condition of life for all those involved. (4) to promote healthy living and educate the players on a healthy lifestyle that will result in improvement to their health and general well-being
