02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Still Waters Perth was set up originally in 2010 to provide either directly or indirectly, opportunities for persons suffering from alchohol related problems, drugs or other forms of substance misuse, gambling addition, stress or other personal problems to gain work experience, employment, education and training. (b) To provide services to assist each persons to live independently and to alert them to the damgers of alcohol, gambling, the misuse of drugs and other substances, with a view to the prevention of the problems caused thereby. (c) To provide such a person with support and fellowship including the provision of food to persons in need.

Constitutional objectives

2 The company’s objects are: (a) To provide, either directly or indirectly, opportunities for persons suffering from alcohol related problems, drug or other forms of substance misuse, gambling addiction, stress or other personal problems to gain work experience, employment, education and training. (b) To provide services to assist such persons to live independently and to alert them to the dangers of alcohol, gambling, the misuse of drugs and other substances, with a view to the prevention of the problems caused thereby. (c) To provide such persons with support and fellowship including the provision of food to persons in need. (d) to implement or assist to implement any charitable purpose or purposes which the directors in their uncontrolled discretion may from time to time by Minute resolve upon.
