What the charity exists to do

To relieve those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by supporting public health systems in the countries in which we work and by advocating for effective medical treatment to be free at the point of delivery and accessible to all. To advance health by saving and improving the lives of seriously ill pregnant women, children, and babies in areas of extreme poverty by empowering and enabling our in-country partners to strengthen emergency healthcare so that every baby, infant, child, and pregnant woman and girl can receive high quality emergency healthcare without delay.
