02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We introduced a Street Food Day with local vendors and cookery demonstration took place in the Town Hall on 1/9/2024 – this event was planned for 2025 but cancelled due to bad weather Xmas activities included The Big Switch On – Reindeer Parade – Tractor Run – Santa Grotto – Santa Breakfast – Santa Run Planned a Garioch Pipe Band Competition for 29/6/2025

Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation's purposes are: a) To promote a sense of pride and interest in their community for the people of Inverurie, and empower individuals and groups from the town to contribute their time and enthusiasm, through the running of community organised events, which will raise the social profile of the town to the public, promote Inverurie locally and within the region, and encourage visitors to the town to the benefit of its inhabitants. b) To support community projects and groups within Inverurie through financial, where funds allow, and practical means.
