What the charity exists to do
The Charity's principal objective is the prevention of loneliness and isolation in the community, through the advancement of education, prevention or relief of poverty of mind, the advancement of community development and citizenship and the enhancement of life of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantages.

Constitutional objectives
4. The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: 4.1 The advancement of health and mental wellbeing through promoting recovery from addiction to alcohol, drugs, gambling or other such addictions and to lessen addictions in future generations. 4.2 The advancement of education by providing volunteering opportunities for individuals who have experienced addiction or other life trauma and by delivering training which can be used in other settings to increase employment prospects. 4.3 The prevention or relief of poverty by the relief of unemployment. 4.4 The relief of need by supporting individuals to live longer, healthier lives and improve the aspirations of our young people. 4.5 The advancement of citizenship or community development by encouraging individuals to live lives safe from crime, disorder and danger and to live in strong resilient and supportive communities where people take responsibility for their own actions and how they affect others.
