02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To increase the chance of survival by giving urgent medical assistance if a life-saving nature in the community in which we live, prior to the arrival of an emergency ambulance when prompted by a 999 call. It is a volunteer group working under the umbrella of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

Constitutional objectives
The charitable objectives of ROSLIN & BILSTON COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS are to enable volunteer FIRST RESPONDERS to attend Pre-Emergency Ambulance Care interventions in accordance with their training for the benefit of the whole community.
