Constitutional objectives

The purposes of the SCIO are: - To advance the education of a wide range of people, young and old, by providing training on issues surrounding the environment, food and farming and sustainability. - To advance both human and animal health and wellbeing by promoting healthy activities and healthy eating as well as engendering an understanding of animal behaviour and welfare. - To advance citizenship and community development by promoting community cohesion, encouraging interaction between local people and improving and enhancing the natural environment.
