Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are: - 4.1 to regenerate local woodland area, initially at Kinneil Woods in the central belt, by firstly extracting windblown and hanging timber and then by planting native species of trees thereby protecting and improving the environment. 4.2 to enhance and improve the woodlands areas for use by the general public to create an area for recreation and leisure to include recycling the processed timber to furnish the areas of recreation, and to produce pathways that will be constructed using recycled timber also sourced from the woodlands. 4.3 to advance education and increase the employability of individuals living in the area of benefit through structured training programmes. 4.4 to advance animal welfare through the development of wildlife preservation initiatives introducing nest boxes for birds and bats and habitats for insect life.
